Favorite Summer Products

July 4th isn’t on a weekend this year, but that doesn’t mean we can’t continue the celebration into the weekend, hah! With my favorite summer products, I’ll make sure my face will still look presentable after all the bbq and pool parties. There’s nothing worse than finishing a burger and realizing that your gorgeous lip color has now made its way down your chin. Here are my tried and true products for keeping your face cute for photos while having fun for the rest of the summer!

1. Skin: We all know that sunscreen is a must, but does anyone ever talk about how much it stinks?! It’s also super slippery on my face, which is so inconvenient when I also have some makeup on. I recently started using Aveeno’s Positively Radiant Sheer Hydration moisturizer again, and I have no idea why I stopped!?! My skin tone has evened out. My face looks so hydrated as if I drank a lake’s worth of water- amazing!! And… there’s SPF. Helloooo, sun protection! Another plus, it doesn’t stink!
2. Eyes: My favorite waterproof eyeliner also doubles as a highlighter since the sparkles make my face look sunkissed by the little freakin’ mermaid. If that isn’t convincing enough, unicorn diarrhea is all I have to say! Seriously. This Fenty Island Bling does not budge once it’s on. But it is limited edition. Please stock up before it’s gone! Another favorite eye product of mine is mascara. I LOVE the way it opens up your eyes, and pretty much gives your whole look a face lift. I tried Too Face’s Better than Sex Waterproof mascara this summer, and yeeeeesh! It’s become one of three mascaras that I’d actually use a lash curler for. That’s saying a whole dang lot because I am terrified of curlers. I always feel like I’ll chop my lashes off, hah! I know that one is a little on the pricey side, so I’ll offer a dupe. L’Oreal’s Lash Paradise. Does the same thing as the Better than Sex mascara but at a fraction of the price! 
3. Cheeks: I’ve been loving my sunkissed blushing look with Ecco Bella’s Wild Rose blush. It’s incredibly pigmented, so you must use a light hand when applying. Though this product does fade throughout the day, it fades into a more natural blushing look! You know what I’m talking about? That, “Wow, I wonder if she’s flushed or actually has blush on,” look. It’s an ego booster, I tell ya! I feel like it might have something to do with the organic ingredients in their products? 4. Lips: The famous, Fenty STUNNA lip paint. Hands down. You won’t find another lip color that’ll stay after 10+ hours of wear and a thousand greasy burgers. I have other everyday favorites like Ecco Bella’s Good For You Gloss in Passion, but this takes the cake for a beautiful long-wearing color.

I’ll honestly have at least one of these products on for the rest of the summer. Can we say, “obsessed?!” I’d love to try new products, too.
